Processes, how important are they, and how rigidly do you need to follow them?

Detailing processes are a double-edged sword. You use them for a very good reason, to ensure safe working and consistency, but they should only give you a framework for a particular job - vehicle conditions are rarely exactly the same, so any process needs to be adaptable.

āŒ Not every interior needs to use six chemicals.

āŒ Not every wash needs a full decontamination process.

āŒ Not every wheel needs an aggressive cleaner.

Follow them up until you need to make a change, then adapt the process to the job in hand.

The next Friday Session is now live to book for June 27th.

We know we're a bit late with this one - but our last week spent at Automechanika, where we condensed what was our first ever Friday Session presentation down into a brief 30 minute talk, showed us there are loads of you who missed out on the full session first time around, but were keen to know more about the chemicals you work with on a daily basis.

So we're running it again.

Understanding what a chemical is actually doing on a surface is keystone knowledge to detailing - being able to adapt these, and identify contaminants to enable efficient removal will make you better, safer and more effective at your job.

We talk through the pH scale, and how it does (or doesn't) affect our chemical choices. We look at surfactants and the role they play, how we can identify the chemicals we are using, and how that information can be used to tackle a range of surface contaminants for simple, efficient and effective removal.

Book your free spot now at www.ukdetailingacademy.com/Friday and learn something that can make a real difference to your working knowledge.
