Job Title: Technical Purchasing Lead

Location: Kings Lynn, Norfolk

Salary: £20k - £27.5K

Hours: Mon-Fri 37.5

This role is crucial for maintaining our supply chain efficiency and ensuring the cost-effective acquisition of technical services.

About the role:

You will play a vital role in managing and optimising our purchasing activities. Your main responsibilities will include the procurement of technical services, tender management, supplier negotiation, and overseeing supply chain operations to meet the company’s specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with the company's policies and regulatory standards.
- Manage supplier relationships and maintain a supplier database.
- Work closely with other leaders to understand technical requirements.
- Oversee and manage the supply chain budget, including cost analysis and savings.
- Report on supply chain performance, challenges, and achievements.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or a similar role in a technical environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of software and database systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The Omeous Group Requires an Operations Manager.

The role will require someone is very organised, responsible and accountable, experienced using the telephone and excellent communication skills. Good with people and has experience in sales and negotiation. Preferably a person who has had experience in a managerial role. Managing and maintaining relations with suppliers, contractors and employees will be a key. A high level of computers and software is also essential.

The successful candidate will be GCSE or equivalent grade 'C' or above. They will also need at least 5 years service in this area of work.

Responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day runnings of the business, areas of work will include but not limited to:

- Contractor Management

- Site Employees Management

- Customer Satisfaction

- Compliance & ISO monitoring

- Operations & Management KPI's

- General Office Duties

Full training will be given.

Should the suitable applicants apply for the role(s); this/ these positions will be delegated to offer a Operations Manager role and a seperate Sales Manager role. Extended experience in both areas would be an advantage but not essential.
