A tale of two prices.

The seedbed barley fertiliser is around 30% more expensive than it was in January (if you can get it).
The kiln dried Larch behind it is the same price as it was this time last year.
And don't even mention the increase in the cost of heating oil and gas!

Good firewood was always an excellent option for keeping your house warm. Recent events have only reinforced the fact.
And here at Huntlywood the sheds are well stocked with both top quality Larch and Birch, available as always for delivery or collection.

Good news for all hardwood aficionados -- and I know there's plenty of you!

Today we took delivery of a load of absolutely excellent kiln dried Birch, and the really good news is that we've managed to negotiate a significant price reduction.

So instead of the previous £180 per cube delivered, our hardwood is now only £145 per m³. That's equivalent to £87 per builders bag. And only £130 per m³ if you come and collect from our yard.

Still plenty of kiln-dried Larch softwood available as well, either on its own or as a mixture with hardwood. £398 for a 3m³ mixed load delivered free within 15 miles.
