Recently Garmin acquired JL audio, a high end audio manufacturer. Yesterday they invited a selected number of tech dealers to Garmin Europe HQ (of which I was one) for technical training on the JL MVI Amplifiers and JL MAX set up and digital sound profiling tool.

The max kit is a sophisticated professional recording tool that allows you to profile and set up the audio system to the surrounding environment, it also allows you to set custom profiles for how the boat is being used ie cruising, or entertainment where the point of sound is likely to differ. The result is a cleaner crisper and more efficient audio system that can be tailored to the clients needs.

Today was the start of the Southampton International Boat Show. A good day on the Garmin stand with plenty of enquiries and a couple of sales. I have now left the show but will be returning on Sunday afternoon for the duration,
