Leaving gutters cluttered stops rainwater draining. When this happens your gutters become heavy and can actually collapse (see my photos) but at very least the water will either seep through joints or overflow, dampening the wall and creating mould on the inside wall.

Yet another downpipe cleared - a cleared downpipe can allow the rainwater to drain straight away - water blocked in a gutter can eventually cause drips and leaks from any joints.
