Nah, then. It’s been a while folks! ‘Tas been a rocky old road this last few years or so, there’s been bits and bobs of work that’s gone on and bits that’s been missed and bits that’s been left alone. But. I gotta show you these ere pieces that I did a while ago for a Gadger that’s into ducks. They’ve turned out great guns and look great in-situ, they’re chuffed, I’m chuffed, the ducks are chuffed… it’s a massive chuff fest and all are invited to view these before and afters.

Recently finished this lovely captain’s chair -
re-covered the seat with a textured mink velvet with a contrasting blue trim, and gave the woodwork a little tickle!

Evening! I hope you’re all keeping safe and well... I made a bespoke suite before Christmas and wanted to get some better photos once I’d been back to Scotchguard it but obviously I’ve been unable to do that since the lockdown was introduced. Anyway, the frame was designed to spec and constructed from beech throughout so will last a lifetime and then the best quality materials from the heaviest webbings and hessian to the fullest white wool wadding and densest foams were used to prepare the frame prior to upholstering. A bit of to and fro choosing the right fabrics but the right choice prevailed with a plaid being used for the cushion covers and contrasting plain for the bodies. Like I say, final stage now is to get this lockdown finished with and then it can be Scotchguarded for additional protection... Please stay safe all of you and please stay well x

Hallo all. Remember these fellas? I finally got round to putting em where they belong, on this ere little rocking chair. I stripped all the existing fabric and wadding off and gave all the woodwork a bit of a tickle as it was a bit battle weary. It then had white-wool wadding and bump interliner on and then upholstered in the drunken stoner badger gadger velvet. I love it and, more importantly, does the owner... take care and stay safe good people x

Afternoon all... Well, odd times are afoot but I suppose a foot’s not necessarily an odd time. I’m really not sure where things will lead to from this point forward, I had a few plans for this year that I intended to see through but with circumstances how they are now everything has changed massively. As things stand presently everything has ground to a halt, no projects or jobs to start or indeed finish so I guess it’s ta-ra for now in regards to work related matters. My intentions now will be to see if I can help out in anyway at HRI or Calderdale whether it be deliveries or portering or cleaning or just purely there as an extra pair of hands. I’m really grateful for all your kind comments on this page over this last few years, I love what I do (mostly), love interacting with you and I really hope I can continue to make beautiful things for your beautiful homes once we get back to normality, whenever that may be.
