End of tenancy and move-out cleans are one of the most requested services we get at Haus Maids Horsham & Cranleigh. And the call we receive most often sounds something like this:

Horsham has its very own World Cup winner.
By now you'll know that Spain are World Cup champions — and Chelsea's Marc Cucurella, our very own Southwater local, is part of that winning squad.
If you follow Visit Horsham, you'll already know Marc is a familiar face around town — he's been spotted everywhere from the high street to the local football pitches, and by all accounts he's always happy to stop for a selfie. A genuine local legend in the making.

Another hot spell could be on the way — here's how to get ahead of it at home.
Last week's heatwave caught a lot of us off guard. The Met Office is now suggesting another warm spell is building from next week — not expected to be as extreme, but worth being prepared for.

Here are a few genuinely useful things you can do this weekend while it's still comfortable:

- Keep curtains and blinds closed on south-facing windows during the hottest part of the day — it can make a surprising difference to room temperature
- Stock up on water and keep a jug in the fridge — staying hydrated is easier when it's effortless
- Open windows in the evening once the outside temperature drops — the best time to cool your home down is overnight, not during the day
- Check on elderly neighbours now, before the heat arrives — a quick knock this weekend means they're not caught unprepared mid-week

This Friday (3 July), Horsham's Friday Lates takes over the Carfax with the Ultimate Boyband Party Show — 6 to 8pm, free entertainment, food and drink from some brilliant local bars and pubs right there on the bandstand.
