I often get asked by clients 'what vacuum would you recommened for us to get next?' And my answer is always.... Shark!

I have been using my Shark for around 6 years now and I can honestly say it has never faltered or lost any suction in all that time! It has seen everything from build cleans (which can be very dusty and harsh on vacuums) to residential cleans, while being used numerous times a week! Even in my own home!

I do clean the filters and brushes regularly as recommened, but there's not a thing that I don't like about this model and would never use another! So of course my most recent purchase had to be another one! 😂

Blinds are certainly not the easiest objects to clean, and many find that the task can be quite tedious to do! 🪟

But even though most look clean from a distance, they very easily attract dust, fly dirt, and even candle soot from having lit cancles near them. They are the closest thing to the windows which when open, allows dust and flies to land on them. So your blinds are definintely not to be missed in a cleaning routine, especially if you suffer from a dust allergy.

Here is a great example of a recent client who requested to have her blinds included in the clean. And with the help of this amazing little tool, I was able to get them spotless in no time, cleaning both the top and bottom of each individual strip without causing any damage, as some can be quite fragile. Its amazing just how well blinds can hide the dirt!

Black mould on window frames 🪟⚠️

This client had a small issue with black mould growing on the frame, which was caused by the difference in temperatures through the colder months.

Moisture often gets trapped on windows without ventilation, which can lead to this black mould appearing. And if left to its own free will it can spread quite quickly, even to the surrounding walls! Which is not ideal as it could end up leaving discolouring/dark spots as shown below, and the mould spores can be harmful to respiratory health.

But a great tool that I've found very useful to remove this is simply a toothbrush 🪥
It can get right into the edges of the frame with a bit of mould spray and easily avoid marking the glass, getting rid of all those harmful spores!

It's not just houses that I clean on a regular basis. I also assist to keep public/communal areas cleaned to a high standard such as the Tai Chi Studio in Hinckley.

Here's another great example of an area that can frequently get missed with a general clean.

Started with a new client this week who wanted a regular weekly clean to help keep on top of things. But it was soon realised that a deeper clean was needed first to get rid of the built-up grime that might be missed in a general clean.

It just shows how much grime can end up hidden until a thorough scrub is done with these before and after photos! 🌟🌟

In case you didnt know, I also clean the insides of windows if requested, always done to a very high standard using non-toxic chemicals, with no streaks left behind 💦

Below is a very good example of the before and after of what was achieved during a recent build clean. Numerous drips of paint and plaster, builders dust, and tape was removed and made to look brand new again for this very happy client.
