Well, that's certainly made our week! We're absolutely thrilled that CleanEvent has been shortlisted in all three categories we entered at the Cleaning Excellence Awards 2026!

The race before the horses hit the track! 🏇

The grandstands are quiet, the sun is rising and the finishing touches are being made ahead of thousands of racegoers arriving.

These stunning early morning views from Ascot Racecourse last Saturday, ahead of QIPCO British Champions Day, capture a side of major events that most visitors never get to see. 🌅

For our CleanEvent Services team, it's all part of the preparation that goes into making sure the racecourse is ready to welcome its guests.

A special mention to Klaudia Zieba-Kochanek and Surendra Choudhary, whose hard work and attention to detail helped get the site race-day ready. 👏

And while the spotlight rightly falls on the racing, there's something special about those quieter moments before it all begins.

A beautiful setting, a big day ahead and a team playing its part behind the scenes. 💙

Henry's had quite the growth spurt! 😂

We're used to working with cleaning equipment of all shapes and sizes, but this might be taking things a little too far!

Henry certainly knows how to make a big impression. The only problem… we're not sure he'll fit through the staff entrance! 👀

Imagine if nobody turned up to clean tomorrow.

Not for a week. Just one day.

The stadium still has a match to host. The arena still has thousands arriving for a concert. The hotel still has guests checking in. The kitchens still have meals to prepare.

But nobody has cleaned.

Suddenly, something that rarely makes the headlines becomes the biggest challenge of the day.

That's the thing about professional cleaning. When it's done well, everything else carries on as normal. Events happen, businesses open their doors and guests enjoy their experiences.

Nobody stops to think about the work behind it all. Until it doesn't happen.

Today is 'Thank Your Cleaner' Day, and while we'll absolutely be saying thank you, we'd also like to ask you something:

How much of your day depends on someone else's cleaning shift?

Probably far more than you realise.

Our cleaning teams play an essential role in keeping some of the UK's busiest venues and facilities running. Their work is part of what makes everything else possible.

So today, here's a small challenge.

Find the person who cleans your workplace or venue and thank them personally.

Not just with a social media post or an email. Have a conversation. Share a few words that let them know their work matters.

Because if one day without cleaning would make such a difference, imagine what a genuine thank you could mean to the person who does it every day.

To every member of our cleaning teams: thank you. We know what you make possible. 💙

🏈 Two weekends of NFL. One brilliant team. 💙

It's been an exciting couple of weekends at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the NFL returning to North London and our CleanEvent Services team working hard throughout both events.

At a stadium where Premier League football is the norm, welcoming the NFL brings a completely different set of demands. It's a great example of Flexibility, one of our F.R.E.S.H Values, in action.

Our colleagues know the venue inside out, but no two events are quite the same. Their ability to adapt, pull together and take pride in their work is what makes occasions like these so special.

A massive thank you to everyone involved across both weekends. The smiles in these photos say it all, and we're proud of the work you've put in! 👏

So, what comes next? 🌍

Becoming a Certified B Corporation™ was an important milestone for us. But from the beginning, we knew certification wasn't where the journey would end.

In many ways, it opens the door to the next stage.

We are now part of the global B Corp community, joining businesses across more than 100 countries and over 160 industries that are using business as a force for positive change.

For us, that brings new opportunities to connect, collaborate and learn from other B Corps, sharing ideas and good practice while continuing to challenge our own thinking about the impact we have on our people, clients, partners, communities and the environment.

We’re also proud to be part of a relatively small but growing group of UK cleaning and facilities service providers to have achieved B Corp Certification. It’s exciting to see that community developing within our own industry, and we look forward to playing our part in it.

There will always be more to learn and more we can improve. Our certification gives us a benchmark to build from, but it also gives us a new community to learn from and contribute to.

Certification was the milestone. What we do with it next is what really matters. 💙

Looking after ourselves, and each other. 💙

Today is World Mental Health Day - an important reminder that mental health matters every day, both in and outside of work.

Our people work in a busy, fast-moving industry where demands can change quickly. We also recognise that personal circumstances, responsibilities and challenges outside of work can affect how we feel.

Creating a culture where people feel valued and comfortable speaking up is therefore incredibly important to us.

Our F.R.E.S.H Values help shape that culture. Responsibility reminds us to look out for one another, Empowerment means ensuring colleagues can access help when they need it and Honesty encourages open conversations.

We also provide our teams with dedicated tools and resources for mental health and wellbeing, offering different routes to support when it’s needed.

There’s no single approach that works for everyone.
