In the ungodly hours of 16th April 2026… I received a wake-up call no one books in for.

At 4am, a queen wasp, bold as brass, decided our bed was the prime location to set up house and launched a full-blown surprise attack on me mid-sleep. Not quite the luxury experience I had in mind.

Honestly, it felt targeted. Like she knew exactly who I was. Not just a sting… a bit of payback, and a not-so-subtle reminder that wasp season is creeping up fast.

Sleep? Optional.
Drama? Complimentary.
Pest control? Probably a good idea. 🤣 🐝
