It’s been a very exciting week here at Esk Valley Home Care & Housekeeping.
It has been wedding week in our house as myself & my partner, Martin of 16years finally became Mr&Mrs Simpson ❤️🥂🎉💍🥰

I got to marry the man behind Esk Valley Home Care & Housekeeping, without him
My new adventure this year would not be where it is today-he supports me daily,giving me advice & guidance when needed & required…☺️

I could not do this without him & he has been bloody fantastic,but do not tell him that 😂 😉 🥰

We had the most perfect Wedding day full of Food,laughter,singing & dancing, celebrating with our family & friends throughout the day,the sun shines for us to which was just wonderful. ☀️

I shall be back to work this week and I will be in touch with everyone who has messaged me in the last couple of days. 💚

I often get asked what I do or what I can get up to visiting clients,so heres a little post to explain…

A lovely week with my clients so far & on my visits these are just some of the smalls tasks that we get done either together or on my own-it’s such a wonderful feeling knowing that I am Supporting individuals in their own home who need my help-I have..

💙supported a client to hang washing outside on the washing line.
💚 Stripped bedding & re made bed.
💙 dusted bed side tables & a beautiful dressing table.
💚 took the bin out for a client as it was “bin day”.
💙kitchen deep cleaned a kitchen & I loved doing this for my client,we did this together & decluttered along the way-it was great to see a different which made our day.
💚staircase-deep cleaned,hoovered,dusted & de cob webbed.
💙hoovered & mopped a kitchen floor.
💚washed up for a client who thanked me so much as they struggle with this.

Doing these tasks big or small for my clients is just so fulfilling and knowing I supporting them to being independent in their own home is very rewarding for me…

“MEET AND GREETS”

One thing i have learnt over the last 8months is to make sure that the client that I am going visit feels reassured,valued,respected & trusted with support that is person centred to them.💙

I offer now,before coming out to do a visit,a
FREE 1 hour meet and greet consultation-in your own home to discuss clients specific needs and preferences, this is so I can get to you the client, but also for the client to get to know me! 💚

It feels for some individuals very daunting and scary seeking or reaching out for support and help,as most individuals want to keep being independent as much as they can in their own homes,but often something gets in the way,and mainly this is down to their health BUT our health needs to come first and me supporting you with small jobs around the home or in the garden will boost my client’s well-being which supports our health. 💙

Highlight of my days if you haven’t guessed already are for sure seeing lots of different stunning gardens with lots of different flowers 🌺

I am loving seeing different coloured Rosie’s waking up..this time of year…🥰

My clients and I often chat about how wonderful the garden is & about how therapeutic the garden can be..I love watching things bloom & come to life…it’s again the simple things in life for me 💚💙

Just a quick thought..☺️

My favourite saying is “it’s the simple things in life”.

Waking up & being ready for a job that I love doing💚
A good cup of tea(preferably in peace 😂)💙
Hugging my children before leaving the house and after a long day 💚
Watching something funny on the tv together with my little family 💙
Sunset dog walks 💚
Garden time 💙
Chatting with a friend or messaging them asking “are you ok”. 💚
Saying good night to my other half 💙

Waking up the following day & doing all of this again…☺️

I am so lucky that I get to do all the above on a daily basis,lucky,grateful & very thankful.
