Before applying a ceramic coating, always check the panel temperature — not just the weather.

For best results, the vehicle’s paintwork should be between 10°C and 25°C, with 15°C–22°C being ideal. If the panels are too hot, the coating can flash too quickly and leave high spots. If they’re too cold, the coating may not bond and cure properly.

✅ Work in the shade whenever possible
✅ Use an infrared thermometer to check panel temperatures
✅ Avoid applying coatings to panels that have been sitting in direct sunlight

A few minutes spent checking conditions can make the difference between a flawless finish and having to polish out mistakes later.

The hot weather is finally coming… but your car might not love it as much as you do

Here are a few simple tips to keep your vehicle looking its best during the upcoming heatwave 👇

• Wash your car early morning or late evening if you can
Direct sunlight can dry shampoo & water too quickly, causing streaks and water spots. If you have spotless water or able to source then that will help you big time

•Wash one panel at a time
In this heat, products can dry FAST and multiply reaction time . Slow and steady wins the shine ✨

•Rinse the car before washing
Hot panels Cool the vehicle down first.

•Use a slow steady stream of water when rinsing
This helps the water sheet off the panels, making drying quicker and reducing water spots.

🛞 Don’t overdo tyre dressing
Too much dressing in hot weather can sling onto the paint while driving.

☀️ Bonus Tip:
Try to park in shaded areas where possible to help protect your paint, dashboard & interior from sun damage.
