☀️ Half term is here, which means one thing… our holiday lets are in full swing! 🏡✨

Today’s changeover at Spring House is complete, ready for the next guests to arrive. The previous guests even left some ice creams in the freezer 🍦- a very welcome surprise in this hot weather!

So, we’re taking a well-earned 5-minute break to cool down, enjoy an ice cream, and soak up these beautiful views before the guests arrive. 🌿☀️

Today’s changeover was made even better by being in the basement - it was definitely the coolest place to be, and we were very grateful in this warm weather! ❄️

After a recent relaunch, this property is looking better than ever, with a stunning new kitchen that’s ready to welcome guests.

✨ Before & After ✨

This fridge had quite the surprise waiting for us after a week’s stay at Owls Nest Barn… 😅

A bottle of Coke had leaked and been left for a few days, leaving behind a sticky, gloopy mess that had coated the inside of the fridge.

Before anyone asks… yes, we absolutely remove all the drawers when we clean, so there’s no chance we’d have missed this! 🤭 But can you imagine how many cloths it took to get all of that cleaned up? 🧽

Thankfully, with a bit of elbow grease (and more cloths than we’d like to admit! 😂), it’s now sparkling clean and ready for the next guests.

Sometimes it’s the jobs you can’t always see that take the most time-but the results speak for themselves! ✨
