☀️ Looking for something to do with the family next week?

Linthouse Housing Association is hosting a Summer Family Fun Afternoon on Wednesday 5th August, from 12pm–3pm in Elder Park.

There will be face painting, balloon art, games, arts and crafts, dance workshops and more – all free for local families to enjoy.

We hope to see lots of our Community Shop members there! 💙

❤️ We’ve had many new followers this week and we just want to say a massive welcome to you all!

🤩 It’s amazing and encouraging to know so many people out there are interested in keeping up to date with what we do.

🙌 We’re just a bunch of local people who enjoy (yes, enjoy!) getting out there and making a difference. Fresh air, clean streets, and friendly like-minded folk… what’s not to love?

♻️ All we want to do is make Govan a cleaner, more pleasant place to live, work and play in.

✨ So come along next time, bring the kids, and help Get Govan Gleaming!

❤️ Such a fabulous gathering at the Maslow's Community Street Glow-Up!

🙌 Lots of people from the local area showed up to clean streets, w**d, spray-paint hydrants, sing and just connect.

😍 We also welcomed man of the moment, David Wright, to our group. What a guy!

🤩 Thank you to every single one of you… it just gladdens the heart to see everyone coming together.

‼️ A reminder about our next litter-pick this Saturday!

😎 Join us at 11am on the corner of Skipness Drive and Clachan Drive for an hour of getting the streets of Govan gleaming.

😍 And we’re going to be joined by local hero David Wright who recently got all the praise he deserves for cleaning up Govan’s streets for years. We can’t wait to meet you, David!

Join the NaeTrash troops this Saturday! ♻️🙌

Don't forget to join us this coming Saturday for the Glasgow Litter Picking Games! 🥳🏅

Litter picking groups across Glasgow will be competing to clean up our streets ahead of the Common Wealth Games. We take pride in our city, and we want to get it as ready as possible. Loads of work have been done across the city, but why not a little extra?!

📍 Meet in front of La Fiorentina in Kinning Park

We will record the number of bin bags filled and report it to the organisers. Let's see if we can take gold!🥇🥳
