The pros & cons of being a solo cleaner 🤍

Being a solo cleaner is incredibly rewarding but it’s also not always easy. Here’s the honest truth.

The pros
• I get to connect deeply with my clients
• I know their homes like the back of my hand
• I control my schedule
• I’m my own boss
• Flexible scheduling that works with my life
• I can give consistent, detailed care every visit

The cons
• When I’m sick, there’s no one to fill in
• Burnout is real if you’re not careful
• It’s easy to overbook yourself
• You have to be very intentional about boundaries and rest

Being a solo cleaner means wearing all the hats but it also means building real relationships and taking pride in work that truly matters. The key is balance, pacing, and knowing when to protect your energy.
