🔥 TOP DOWN LIGHTING – STARTS FROM THE BOTTOM UP! 🔥
Did you know that the way you light your wood-burning stove can make a big difference to how efficiently it gets going?
With the Top Down Lighting Method, you build your fire from the bottom up, but light it at the top! 🔥
✅ 1. Less smoke on start-up – A cleaner burn from the moment you light your fire.
✅ 2. Heats the flue faster – Helping establish a good chimney draught.
✅ 3. Gets your stove up to temperature quicker – Reducing the time spent in the inefficient start-up phase.
🪵 Build from the bottom up:
1️⃣ Two or three small logs at the bottom.
2️⃣ A criss-cross stack of dry kindling.
3️⃣ A natural firelighter on top.
🔥 Light from the TOP and let the fire burn DOWN!
A simple change to your lighting technique can mean less smoke, better combustion and a more efficient fire.
Burn smarter. Burn cleaner. Burnright!
