The westcliff-on-sea job is complete.🧱🪨🌿thanks to aggregates for the quality materials.
White Monocouche render to go on the walls to completely finish it off ,but I'll leave that to the experts

First Brick wall of the year for me and she is a big one.
With bird beak pointing,chunky piers it will eventually stand over 6ft tall.

This tatty wall didn't have much life left in it.
Missing bricks,capping stones and a weak crumbling mortar meant that water has saturated the top half of the brickwork.
With the old mortar raked out and repointed and new capping stones and some lead flashing installed to direct the water away means this old wall will have many more years left in it.
A cheaper solution to a full rebuild 🧱 🧱 🧱

With the weather this time of year, lots of digging and some drainage works in-between meant that this was going to be a muddy sticky messy ol' challenge to begin with, but we got there in the end.
Still a little work to do in the garden to get it back to it's best when it stops bloody raining!
