“I can’t believe the lengths you go to…”
That was the message we received from one of our letting agent clients after we sent her this photo.
And honestly… she’s right. 😂
During an end of tenancy clean, we discovered the master bedroom curtains were absolutely covered in cat hair. We’d never been told there had been a pet, so specialist upholstery cleaning hadn’t been arranged in advance.
Normally, we’d start with a vacuum, but these curtains were made from a silky fabric that simply wouldn’t release the hair. Hoovering barely touched it.
So… we improvised.
The windowsill was wide enough to hold an ironing board, so we turned it into a makeshift workstation and painstakingly removed the hair with lint rollers instead.
Could we have left them looking “good enough”? Probably.
Did we? Absolutely not.
End of tenancy cleaning isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about noticing the details, solving the unexpected problems, and doing whatever it takes to leave a property ready for inspection.
It’s one of the many reasons tenants trust us to help protect their deposits, and why letting agents trust us to hand properties back to landlords in the best possible condition.
Sometimes, the biggest difference isn’t what you can see at first glance—it’s the extra effort that happens behind the scenes.
