Swimming is not “just another activity” for children. It’s a life skill. And honestly? It blows my mind that in 2025, so many children still leave school not knowing how to swim!
Drowning is one of the leading causes of accidental death in children worldwide. And yet, thousands of kids across the UK never get proper swimming lessons because of barriers like cost, access to facilities, or simply not having the chance.
That is where Pools4Schools comes in. We literally bring the pool to the children, building temporary pools right at their schools so every child has the opportunity to learn. No buses, no cost barriers, no excuses. Just children gaining confidence, learning water safety, and having fun.
It is not about creating the next Olympic swimmer (though hey, you never know 👀). it is about making sure every single child knows what to do if they are ever in or near water. It’s about building confidence, resilience, and a skill that could one day save their life.
I’m so passionate about this because I have seen the difference it makes! Every child deserves the right to feel safe in and around water. 🌊✨
