Summer holidays don’t stop us… they just come with an extra team member! 🌱👨‍👦

One of the best parts of running your own business is being able to spend quality time with your children while teaching them valuable life skills.

This summer, I’ve had my son joining me out on site, giving him a glimpse into what goes into maintaining high-quality sports surfaces and grounds. From early starts to working as part of a team, it’s been a great opportunity to show him the importance of hard work, responsibility and taking pride in what you do.

It’s not about getting free labour it’s about creating memories, building confidence and helping him understand the value of earning something through effort.

Who knows… maybe one day he’ll be running Roots Grounds Maintenance himself! 💚

For now, I’m just proud to have him by my side.
