🚨 Emergency Pump Station Call-Out 🚨

We recently attended an emergency call-out to a failed sewage pump station.

On inspection, we found the discharge pipework had severely corroded and failed. A temporary repair was carried out to get the system back up and running, with permanent remedial works recommended.

These photos show exactly why regular pump station servicing and preventative maintenance is so important. 👇

This was a single-pump system, meaning there’s no backup pump if something goes wrong. A failure can quickly lead to sewage backing up, flooding and a much bigger repair bill.
