Yesterday we received a phone call that has stayed with me.

A landlord had sadly lost a tenant who had passed away at home.

The first thing they said was:

“I could probably do this myself… I just can’t bring myself to.”

My heart broke.

But what shocked me even more was that it had taken them two weeks to find us.

Two weeks.

They’d asked the police.
They’d asked anyone they could think of.
They’d searched online.

Eventually they found us.

But it made me realise something.

No one should ever feel they have to clean a property after someone has died because they don’t know where to turn.

And no one should have to spend weeks searching for specialist help at one of the hardest times of their life.

This service exists.

There are professional companies like ours who can safely and respectfully carry out these cleans, allowing families, landlords and those involved to focus on what really matters.

From today, I’m going to keep talking about this.

Not because it’s easy.

Because people need to know help is available.

So I have one favour to ask.

Most people don’t expect to find needles in a property.

Our team is in Littlehampton today carrying out a safe needle sweep before further work can begin.

A needle isn’t just litter. It can present a serious risk if handled incorrectly.

Our technicians are trained to:
• Wear the correct PPE.
• Use specialist equipment to pick up sharps safely.
• Dispose of them through the correct clinical waste stream.
• Leave the property safer for the next person who enters.

It’s one of those jobs most people hope they’ll never need…

…but when they do, they need a company that knows exactly what they’re doing.

Congratulations to Rhea.

Rhea completed her biohazard training earlier in the year and now she has completed her Hoarding Practitioners training.

Rhea is now ready to go out and support people in their homes, with our person centred, trauma informed slow steps approach.

Our client went to a wedding. We cleaned the house. 😂

Yesterday one of our clients booked our While You’re Out Having Fun service.

And she did exactly that.

She went off to a wedding while our team got to work:

✨ Deep cleaned the house
✨ Cleaned the oven
✨ Cleaned the carpets

And when she got home?

Everything was done.

This morning we received this lovely message:

“All wonderful and so lovely to come home to a sparkling house.” ❤️

And THAT is exactly why we created this service.

Because who says you have to spend your precious time off cleaning?

Got a wedding? Go.
Lunch with friends? Go.
Family day out? Go.
Fancy doing absolutely nothing to do with cleaning? Definitely go. 😂

You go and have fun. We’ll take care of the cleaning.

“The mould is back.”

It’s probably one of those messages no landlord, letting agent or property manager wants to receive.

Because it rarely stops at just that one message.

The student is frustrated because they thought it had already been dealt with.

Their parent might now be involved.

There are photos.

There are questions about what was done last time.

And meanwhile you’re trying to work out…

Why has it come back?
What are we actually dealing with?
Who do we need to send?
And how do we get this properly sorted?
