This block paved driveway was heavily covered in dirt, moss, weeds and old sand build-up. We carried out a full pressure wash, removed all debris, and finished it off with fresh kiln-dried sand to lock everything back into place.

Fairly straight forward Quarter Final at a sunny fairmuir tonight. Once we went 2-1 in front, the game was never really in doubt.

LOCHEE UNITED AFC 2-1 JEANFIELD SWIFTS AFC (AET)
North Of Tay - Semi Final

Last night at Glenesk, we played in our semi final. Game was very tight although the bigger pitch suited our style of play more than some of the tattie fields we’ve had to deal with the past few weeks. Cammy nodding in a Nathan corner put us ahead before they quickly equalised. The teams couldn’t be split and we headed to extra time. Jeanfield went down to 10 men for a second yellow before we took the lead through a Brad free kick. Rather than coast through the game we decided to make things difficult for ourselves and gave away a penalty. Not to worry however as Aidan does what he’s done repeatedly this season and saved yet another penalty to see us through to our first north of tay final.

The final will, again, be at Glenesk Park on Friday the 15th May against fellow DSMFL side Stobswell AFC.

Small note on last night, that Extra Time was a complete farce due to the lighting conditions. Credit to the officials for not calling the game, which they were well within their rights to do. To charge people £6 for a game where they physically couldn’t see most of the pitch in extra time is a bad look to such a prestigious competition. For future, we should either play these games on a Saturday or if we insist on midweeks it should be at a venue that has sufficient/working floodlighting.

Next up we will play The Albert midweek in the Shaun Kelly Memorial Trophy as we hope to get to another semi final.
