📢 Important Update for All Existing and Potential Clients

We wanted to keep everyone updated that our owner, Emily, is currently off sick due to a progression in her ongoing back problems. Unfortunately, she will not be attending cleans for the time being while she focuses on resting and recovering.

Emily will still be available to contact for any enquiries, bookings, scheduling or general queries, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch as usual.

🧹 What does this mean for your cleans?

Sammy will continue carrying out jobs as normal, supported by one of the other girls who will be driving. Depending on the day’s schedule, you may also see Sammy accompanying one of our other cleaners so that we can cover more jobs and keep everything running as smoothly as possible.

💙 New Client Enquiries

During this time, we will unfortunately not be taking on any new clients for immediate cleaning services, as we want to ensure we continue providing our existing clients with the service and reliability they deserve.

However, we are still more than happy to arrange a visit and provide a quote for anyone interested in joining Clean Encounters! We can add you to our waiting list, ready for Emily’s return and for us to welcome new clients again.

Our priority is to ensure that your existing cleans continue as normal, with as little disruption as possible. If any issues arise or we need to make changes to your usual arrangements, we will contact you directly.

We would like to thank all our wonderful clients for their patience, understanding and continued support during this time. It genuinely means a lot to us as a small business. 💙

We do include a small general tidy as part of our general cleans, so please don’t worry about having to get up early or stress about picking everything up before we arrive! 😊

Odd bits and things being left out are absolutely fine we expect homes to be lived in! As long as it’s not a full-blown chaos situation, we’ll happily tidy as we go and get everything looking lovely again. 🧹✨

⚠️ FRIDAY PAYMENT REMINDER ⚠️

It’s honestly becoming so frustrating that we are having to keep asking for payments. 😔

It’s currently Friday evening, which is also payday for many people, and we are still waiting on 12 outstanding payments.

Some clients have already received reminders, while others are still within their payment window. We do ask that Friday payments are made on the day they are due, particularly where Friday is payday, as this has a direct knock-on effect for our team.

We are getting very close to having to remove our 48-hour payment window completely and moving to payments being due on the day of the clean.

The reality is that we have families and bills of our own too. We have cleaners who need to be paid, and we always make sure the girls are paid before we pay ourselves — but when clients don’t pay on time, it means we are left waiting for our own money.

We are a small business, and unlike a large company, we don’t have a huge financial buffer sitting there to cover unpaid invoices.

We completely understand that things can be forgotten or life gets busy, which is why we currently allow 48 hours. But we do need payments to be made within the agreed timeframe so that we can continue paying our team and running the business properly.

If you have an outstanding invoice with us, please check your messages and make payment as soon as possible. ❤️
