I haven't detailed one of these before......and this one hadn't been detailed before since new around 2 years ago - hand car wash being the default option.

As usual the car was pre- inspected and here's the important bit - the process was agreed based upon real life usage and situation. A busy life , the car on lease or similar, but just wanted a good " base detail" with regular maintenance after that to keep it looking "special". Although the car was full of swirls from the "get what you pay for" establishments the
client wasn't fussed about hours and ££££s spent on correction. So it wasn't "corrected".

I read so much rubbish about "driveway detailers" not being "detailers"....but these folk perhaps only look at cars with one thing in mind - "perfection".
Been there, done that, had 2 units..........the majority of customers really don't want or need their every day car to have a flawless finish.

I like to "keep things reel" here these days. Initial appraisal, discuss the options and go with what suits you, the car and your situation.

A hot day to be detailing a black Jaguar XKR.
This customer was so pleased with the work I did cleaning and reproofing his hood a few weeks ago, he had me back after I suggested his beast of a 5lt XKR would look a lot different given a day of my time.
Enhancement Detail - full paint cleanse, elimination of pesky light swirls and long term protection applied......and the usual 101 other things I do to produce work like this. 🙂

Latest edition to my regular car care plan and No.4 Defender - I look after 2 other 5dr versions and now 2 of these 2dr versions.

This IMO is such a great colour in that it's an obvious nod to the past and really ties in nicely with the black trim.
Thankfully no sheep 🐑 in the back of this one though.

To have your car maintained on a regular basis all I ask is that I detail the vehicle first to a high standard and apply a long term sealant. That way when I come to "maintain" your car it's precisely that and can be sorted out within a 2hr time frame.
