Some mould sprays and bleach can damage your bathroom fixtures and fittings?

Many mould and mildew removers contain powerful chemicals designed to break down stubborn staining, but if they come into contact with taps, shower frames, plug fittings or other metal surfaces, they can cause corrosion and discolouration over time.

The mould might disappear, but so can the finish on your expensive bathroom fittings!

Always use these products carefully and rinse away any overspray as soon as possible.

Sometimes it's not the dirt causing the damage, it's the product being used to remove it.

Anyone else find Sundays are anything but a day of rest? 😅

For a lot of us, Sunday isn't spent relaxing on the sofa. It's the day we try to get our lives back in order before Monday rolls around.

The washing needs done, school uniforms need sorted, lunches need planned, the house needs tidied, bedding changed, and somehow we're supposed to fit in a bit of downtime too.

So if your Sunday looks more like a never-ending to-do list than a day off, you're definitely not alone. ❤️

Did you know... not all of our clients use a cleaner because they can't clean? 🤔

Many of our regular clients keep beautiful homes and simply value their free time.

Today's client is a perfect example. His home was already tidy and well maintained, but after a full deep clean, every room has been refreshed, detailed, and brought back to its best.

Having a cleaner isn't about not being able to do it yourself. Sometimes it's about investing your time elsewhere and coming home to a professionally cleaned space.

We're delighted to welcome another monthly client to the TLC family ❤️

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately while dealing with some family health issues behind the scenes 🤍

Last Tuesday our little girl Amber was admitted to hospital, and we didn’t get home until Friday. Thankfully, after months of poor health and unanswered questions, we finally have a diagnosis, an asthma plan in place, and medication that is already helping her so much.

It’s been an emotional and exhausting week, but also one that has really reminded me how lucky we are to have such amazing people around us.

To our incredible team who kept TLC running while my attention needed to be elsewhere, thank you.
To our family and friends who checked in, helped out and supported us, thank you.
And to the few clients we had to rearrange or move around, thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

Amber is still home recovering this week while she adjusts to her new medication, and with the help of the girls and Granny, I’m doing my best to cover as much as I can this week while easing back into normality.

Running a business while being a mum can be a lot at times, but last week has reminded me just how much kindness and support surrounds us, both personally and through TLC.

We appreciate every single one of you more than words can say 🤍
