Customer is refusing to pay our $850 invoice because the job was completed faster than expected. We quoted 5–6 hours and finished in about 3 hours. They’re arguing they should only pay a fraction of the price since we didn’t use the full estimated time.

How do you handle situations like this? Do you stand firm on the quoted price, or is there a best practice to avoid disputes like this in the future..?
