๐ Update from Maid on the Move ๐
After a very busy season, I would like to address some things for both existing clients and future clients:
1. We have zero tolerance for abuse, inappropriate language or raised tones towards me or members of staff. Please raise any issues directly with me, calmly and professionally, so we can resolve them. I welcome constructive criticism as I learn to run a business; there's a way to navigate this effectively.
2. As a company, we do not undertake any work at height that requires ladders or climbing. This is a firm safety measure I uphold to protect both myself and others. Instead, I use extendable poles that allow me to safely reach and dust high ceilings, beams, and elevated areas without leaving the ground.
3. As we enter the Autumn/Winter months, please be mindful that if the designated clean is inclusive of any open fires, allow them sufficient time to cool down to avoid any incidents. Please be mindful of this prior to lighting any fires or log burners the evening before cleans.
4. Availability is offered on a firstโcome, firstโserved basis. To help me manage my schedule effectively, please provide as much notice as possible for any requirements or changes to your booking. This allows me to adjust plans smoothly and continue meeting your needs. Likewise, I will always give as much notice as I can regarding any changes to times or days. My schedule is often planned up to 14 days in advance, unless unavoidable circumstances arise. Clear communication is essential for maintaining an efficient service, and I have always aimed to remain fully transparent about any changes or estimated times of arrival. However, certain factors, such as road closures, traffic delays, or unexpected disruptions, are outside of my control.
Thank you so much for your continued support,
Any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact me, and I will do my utmost to rectify any issues.
Many thanks,
Lydia
