Busy couple of days booked in with this little fiesta and still another day to go. Starting with faded and heavily oxidized 18yr old paint. full dawn dish soap wash and decontamination including fallout remover tar and glue remover when I say tar removed the cloth just shows how bad it was. Full clay bar followed by a degrease of every panel. Full mask up of plastic and rubbers plus aireal today the paintwork was given a full heavy cut compound removing majority of surface imperfections deeper and surface scratches and sanding marks before realizing it was 8pm and missed tea time. Tomorrow will be a second stage medium cut further reducing left over sanding marks and swirls, followed by a finishing coat to give that shine back then sealed with a final glaze to give that ultimate shine back as it if has just rolled Fresh off the factory line. It just doesn't stop there IL be Moving onto a full interior strip down all seats removed so I can move around the vehicle so carpets and upholstery can be vaxed and conditioned and plastics dressed more photos to come when the car is finished
