Modern bathroom to shower room transformation complete in Newport 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

On decommission of this room we discovered that every pipe was running underneath/ in-front of the bath. The soil stack was cast iron and all waste to the stack were copper.
All pipework was relocated as our main objectives when transforming these rooms is to have zero boxing in, all internal corners are to be scribed with no trims and all edges mitred so that the finish is extremely high standard.
Once the pipe was complete and the first fix for new locations were installed, we started on the floor prep. Due to the property being a flat on the second floor the waste was a task but not impossible.
All walls were prepped, a concealed cistern was installed for the w/c. New pipework for the shower was installed at the correct height and centre to the tray.
A stone/resin shower tray was installed low level with new waste tray and LVT flooring was installed flush to the tray.
The ceiling was suspended and made level, a UPVC white ceiling was installed with new bathroom light and pull cord.
All walls were panelled with storm effect Aqua panels and grey slat effect feature in the shower space and on basin wall.
A 600mm vanity unit which grey counter top was chosen by our customer. Finished with a beautiful rectangle bowl and waterfall tap.
Vertical designer radiator was installed in anthracite grey
Rainfall thermostatic shower with rising rail and chrome pivot door cubicle was fitted.

We take care of everything from design to the installation.
Our full bathroom design and fitted bathroom service removes the stress of co-ordinating different tradespeople, so you can get your bathroom renovation project finished on time and on budget.
All our rooms are complete solely by our in-house team. No contractors or waiting on other trades.

As part of our full bathroom design and fitted bathroom service we will:

1. Visit you at home to carry out a design appointment, Offer advice on all products, fixture choices and creating the best layout of the room. Offering a free bathroom design and quote service an experienced designer will visit you at home to learn more about your renovation requirements.

Following a detailed discussion and measuring of the existing bathroom they will be able to offer expert help and advice with regards to a design and in most cases provide you with an idea of cost.

2. Prepare a detailed quote. 40% deposit is required to secure a date and order materials. The remaining 60% will be due on day of bathroom completion.

3. Once quote is accepted we will arrange to deliver a sample pack of our wall and floor coverings.

4. Schedule your job in with our installation team. At point of order we'll schedule your project in with our installation team and provide you with a provisional installation month. From here your project will remain with your designer for job preparation.

5. Order and store all materials, ready for your project to start. Once your final specification has been checked and signed off your file will be passed onto our purchasing team where all product and fixture choices are ordered with our manufacturers and suppliers ready for your project to start.

We deliver and store most items in our warehouse however in some instances we may ask for goods to be delivered directly to site while works are in progress.

6. Project manage your transformation. While the works are ongoing we will project manage and co-ordinate the order of works covering the removal of your existing bathroom, first and second fix, installation of new fixtures, final checks and project sign off.

7. Keep you in the loop every step of the way. Kyle, our lead fitter will carry out all aspects of your bathroom renovation with his team, keeping you in the loop every step of the way as your project progresses.

8. Floor protection will be applied to all areas and we will Tidy up at the end of each day leaving all walk ways clear and safe. We want your bathroom renovation to be as stress-free and undisruptive as possible.

9. Be on hand should you have any questions or concerns. Throughout your project with us we will always be on hand to answer any questions or ease any concerns you may have.

Due to the gradient of the staircase passing through this room we made some amendments so that it wasn’t shown in the room.
The first fix was complete for a thermostatic shower.
A stud was built for the niche and an acrylic bath was installed.
Aqua UPVC Marble tile effect panels were installed in the wet area and half way across the basin and w/c wall.
The previous tiled floor was removed and 12mm ply was installed to the floor space finished with grey stone LVT.
Chrome towel radiator was relocated and pipework corrected to suit.
Extra large vanity units are installed with built in basin, toilet and extra storage.
A chrome waterfall effect shower was installed and openable shower screen with towel holder.
