From dated to designer.
Looking back at these before photos, it’s hard to believe this is the same room. The original bathroom was functional but dated, with standard sanitaryware, enclosed shower, basic tiling and very little character. Our client wanted a complete redesign that would create a luxury hotel-style bathroom with a modern, spacious feel and premium finishes throughout.

We stripped the room back and completely reconfigured the space, installing a bespoke floating double vanity with integrated basins, a freestanding bath, a walk-in shower with matt black framing and rainfall shower, wall-mounted brassware, feature recessed niches, a concealed wall-hung WC, designer radiator and large marble-effect wall panels. Every detail was carefully planned to maximise both style and practicality, creating a clean, contemporary finish that will look great for years to come.

This project is a perfect example of how a full renovation can completely transform a room, turning an ordinary bathroom into a stunning space that’s both functional and luxurious. A complete shower room transformation carried out by our in-house team.

All existing wall panels and the original suite were removed, allowing us to complete all necessary concealed plumbing works and prepare the room for its new layout.

Top-of-the-range Fibo wall panels were used to cover the walls, finished with brushed brass trims to complement the fixtures and give the room a clean, high-end finish.

A bespoke niche was built into the shower area, alongside concealed shower controls and a pivot shower door. A brushed brass towel radiator was also installed, with a matching brushed brass flush plate tying all the finishes together.

The existing floor was retained at the customer’s request, keeping some of the traditional character and farmhouse feel of the property. The remaining walls were fully prepared and painted, with the ceiling finished in black to complement the new design.

A stone resin anti-slip shower tray was installed and the radiator relocated to provide easier access to the shower.

The room was finished with a wall-hung fluted basin and concealed brushed brass taps, along with a toilet featuring a concealed cistern and multi-functional seat.

This project involved a complete strip-out before rebuilding the bathroom from the ground up. We carried out every aspect of the renovation, including the plumbing, installation, wall panelling, flooring, fitting the new bath, toilet, vanity unit, heated towel rail, lighting, and all the finishing touches.

The marble-effect wall panels, black fixtures, and contemporary fittings have completely modernised the room, while the new layout and finishes have created a brighter, more spacious feel. Every detail was completed to a high standard to deliver a bathroom that not only looks great but is built to last.

Bathroom to modern shower room transformation complete in Newport 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
This project involved a complete transformation of an outdated bathroom into a stylish, practical, and accessible shower room.

The existing bath was removed, along with all pipework beneath it, allowing us to correctly reconfigure and first-fix the plumbing to ensure a reliable and professional installation. The old electric shower was also removed and replaced with a modern concealed shower system for a clean, contemporary finish.

A walk-in, non-slip shower tray was installed, complemented by a sleek glass shower screen to create a spacious and open feel. The walls were finished throughout with Scandinavian Beige Febo wall panels, providing a luxurious appearance while offering a low-maintenance, waterproof solution.

To maximise both style and storage, we fitted a white gloss toilet and basin vanity unit, paired with a matching tall-boy storage unit. A new heated towel radiator was installed to enhance comfort and practicality, while durable LVT flooring completed the transformation with a warm, modern look.

Every aspect of the design, including the colour scheme, fixtures, fittings, and overall aesthetic, was selected by the customer to create a space that perfectly reflects their personal taste and requirements.

The result is a bright, elegant shower room that combines contemporary design, improved accessibility, and practical everyday functionality.
