A little bit about me......
I'm a mum of 3 and a wife, so I am fully on board with the struggles of looking after a full house, especially when both parents work long hours.
I used work as a carer, I loved being a carer, but found it very difficult not to get too emotionally involved.
Whilst working as a carer, I found the strict time frames ridiculous, resulting in customers being left with full bins and dishes on the drainer etc. I decided to start up a home help, as well as cleaning, to help elderly and disabled people maintain their homes around the schedule of the carers.
In doing this, I have come to realize just how precious my company is to vulnerable people, I'm not just their cleaner/home help, I'm their only conversation that day. I'm their insight the outside world.
Don't get me wrong, carers also provide this service, but I am there for 1-2 hours, helping out, encouraging my customers to participate, whilst chatting, literally the whole time.
I have come to know most of my customers so well, they are like extended family.
I LOVE my job. I might not be everyone's cup of tea and that's ok, but I am very loyal to the ones who do like me.
I LOVE to help people, because I know what it's like to need help and to be too proud to ask for it.
