Recently installed a 4 Manual Charterhouse with UHT keyboards, Oak music desk and pin-adjustable bench. The customer fitted Dell P2418HT touchscreens which worked very well.

I love a Clayesmore, this one was fitted with 24" touch screens instead of our usual 22". A pair Adams speakers were temporarily mounted behind the the monitors - I bet they are still there as it worked rather well! A Presonus T10 sub completed the audio installation.

The Charterhouse is a best-seller, this one was slightly different. We have installed many with Mac minis and Motu audio interfaces, however this one had Cambridge Audio MINX MIN22 speakers mounted on the touchscreen monitor mounts, you can see them if you look carefully, a BK subwoofer and a miniDSP complete the audio. The miniDSP is used as a filter / crossover set to 140Hz. The end result looked and sounded great.

Something a bit different, yes this is a Hauptwerk instrument, however it also uses Renatus’ Console Control System, Hauptwerk is just used for tone generation, Console Control manages everything else. Console Control is normally used in pipe organs, however it can also manage MIDI-capable digital tone generators.

This is an attractive solution as Hauptwerk’s combination action is slightly peculiar, especially for a British organist. This console has a stepper the behaves properly and separate, lockable divisional and general memory levels and much more.

The PC is an Intel NUC 12 Extreme i9 and the audio interface a Focusrite 18i20. Two touchscreen are mounted in drawers beneath the key shelf. Our Power Controller provides seamless, single-button start and stop.

Keyboards are UHT, golf-tee thumb pistons and HH-style "walnut whip" brass toe pistons.

Taylor draswstop solenoids are used with custom removable stop heads.

Installed a delightful Charterhouse Console yesterday. This one had an Intel NUC and Focusrite 4i4 mounted under the key shelf.

This console has been delayed due to supply chain issues, but we are at last making progress. It is going to run our custom 3 manual Hereford Cathedral sample set. More pictures soon!
