The vendor is getting two more quotes that are coming in can you please quote?

Yes of course but looking at the report the drainage field has failed. Quick land check reveals high ground water 🚩

Another check revealed flood zone 3 therefore a drainage field cannot be installed. So how are the others quoting for a new one??

Flood zone 3 is high probability of flooding therefore normal drainage fields are not suitable for this application.

The purchase could have gone through with a few thousand knocked off the house price with an estimate for a drainage field when in reality this is going to be a whole different project with a carefully designed new system in it’s entirety.

My advice and time for checking was free of charge but I am safe in the knowledge the purchaser has more knowledge to move forward.

Whether the vendor goes with the other quotes for a drainage field that would be incorrect is entirely up to them but having a failed Drainage field already I would imagine it’s for this very reason.

30 Person Tricel Sewage Treatment Plant Installation

A lovely 30 person Tricel sewage treatment plant installation completed by our team last week.

When we first attended site, it was immediately clear that the existing system was not fit for purpose and was discharging to ground above the 2 m³/day allowance, meaning it no longer met the General Binding Rules. Because of this, the property required a new, legally compliant discharge before the house sale could proceed.

After securing the necessary Environment Agency permit, we installed this wonderful Tricel system under full Building Control oversight with complete electrical sign off. The installation went smoothly, and the final results are excellent.

Our clients now have:
A fully compliant sewage treatment system
A legal discharge meeting the General Binding Rules
A system suitable for the property’s population

Not every job is just another job… ❤️

We were asked to locate an existing water supply and connect it to a caravan that will be used as a temporary home while a self-build project gets underway.

We’re pleased to say the supply was found, the connection was completed, and the caravan is now fully self-sufficient with its own water supply.

So why was this client extra special?

Because it’s Mum and Stepdad! 🏡

At an age when many people are putting their feet up and enjoying retirement, they’ve decided to take on one final adventure and build their dream home from the ground up.

We’re incredibly proud to be able to help them on the first step of that journey and can’t wait to watch their new home take shape.

Family run business 😍

We were out for the morning meeting local businesses and a touch of filming with Sedgemoor fm with Neil Fellowes and Dave Englefield Watch this space for a real fun episode to be released🤣

We met up with David Ballantine for a great meeting and even bumped into the fabulous Roger Smith for a quick chat. A CCTV for drainage on the way back to the office to finish with an afternoon in the office!

Not much footage collected but nothing our daughter Summer couldn’t whip up to a fun video to enjoy.
