It's only my 3rd week cleaning Ambulances for the East of England Ambulance Trust, but i gotta hand it to them.
Today, although only for a few hours, i was seconded to Broomfield Hospital (Chelmsford) to perform Covid cleans on ambulances when patients with coronavirus were being taken from the ambulance into the A&E dept. Normally this would be the responsibility of the ambulance crew.
It was an honour to do this for them while they handed over their patients to the teams of doctors, nurses and carers in the hospital. (If only there was a way we could support those heroes too!!??!!)

It was my first time doing this...
And it was obvious how much pressure our hospital and ambulance staff are under.
And also humbling to feel the warm and heart-felt appreciation from these paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians and Ambulance drivers for doing such a small thing for them.

They are a credit to the NHS...
And in turn, a credit to our Nation.
Let's not forget these people.
