This. This is a real pet hate of mine.
If you have a cleaner, product bottles should not look like this
Here's another reason to add to list of why im now working by myself, little things dont get missed.
When having a cleaner it is so important they are insured; anything can happen! Us being insured makes sure we, the client and cleaner are covered.
Registered self employed with a valid UTR number; if you want to pay someone who's also claiming they don't work then go ahead BUT this can come back and bite you on the bum as we have to show money trails on where we have cash/payments from etc (this happened when I bought my house from money my step dad gave me, how hed got it, why he gave it me and so on) and can also be classed as benefit fraud. Also, why would you want to pay someone top price of a cleaner when they dont pay tax/NI/insurance, book keepers etc BUT thats up to you. I just know id rather be covered in all areas 😇
Please also take into consideration a DBS check, this just covers any convictions, previous convictions and shows whether someone can work with vulnerable people such as the elderly/disabled and so on but again thats up to you and its your house/family member 😇
Us cleaners arent 'qualified' as such. We can go on courses and we can be good at what we do but its not a college course however we do cover courses such as COSHH, first aid, cross contamination.
Some other cleaning businesses also have the mould removing qualification and the hazardous training so dont be put off by the cost of a cleaner if there is mould or hazardous waste, because depending on what they know and how safe they are is represented in their price 🥰😇 and id rather pay to have it done correctly! (I know a good person Stephs Sparkles Ltd ✨️ for all your mould and hazardous waste issues).
At the moment I am fully booked for regular weekly and fortnightly cleans, however I can make room for one offs/deep cleans 😇
Hope everyone's staying cool 😎
