Off to a great start for 2026. Went to a local sheep farm and took these foxes within seconds of eachother probably would have been a mating pair but with lambing just months away these had to go. 🦊🦊

We've had a busy couple of weeks with rabbits, taking 38 in total from various properties using rifles and ferreting.

Today was our first day of ferreting for the 2025-26 season accounting for 8 rabbits with 6 of them being in the same stop end... A first for me having that many rabbits down the same hole.

A farm I look after had been in touch about some foxes that had been sighted on many occasions. As darkness fell i ventured out in search of said fox(s). After a small walk around a fresh cut crop field and no luck I dropped down into a hilly sheep field. A quick scan of the thermal soon showed up this young chap. Result.

Another private property that I have been controlling pests on for a few years had said rabbit numbers were increasing and that they were most active in the morning. So this morning I headed out and accounted for 4 rabbits in just an hour.

Shooting for a new client this evening after having a recce earlier in the week to check the area out and discuss all the important bits. Successful couple of hours and was nice to get out with the air rifle which seems to be a rarity these days. 🐇🐇🐇

A busy night on the rabbits. Visiting 2 properties and over 20 🐇 taken.
