Busy day over in Wherwell today 📍

The first photo shows one of the north-facing roofs halfway through the clean — these always take the worst hit over winter as they stay damp much longer than the sunny side of the house.

Also completed a large patio clean, with some proper satisfying before-and-after sections coming up nicely again ready for spring.

Finished off with gutters checked and cleared so everything is flowing as it should.

Unfortunately the day did involve taking one casualty… the pressure washer wheel axles snapped clean off mid-job 🤦‍♂️

Still — job finished and everything came up really well in the end 👍

Big roof scrape completed in Wherwell today

Customer requested a manual moss removal (no wash) followed by treatment — and as you can see from the photos, a serious amount of moss came off this roof… enough to cover the ground below once cleared.

Work carried out:

✔ Full roof scrape
✔ Treatment applied to slow regrowth
✔ Gutters cleared and flow fully restored

Roof’s now breathing properly again and gutters running as they should 👍

Back at The Three Cups again last week… this time giving the front wall a proper wake-up call! 💪🏼

Years of moss, algae and general “pub wall character” had crept in — so it was time to bring the brickwork back to life and smarten up the entrance a bit.

Amazing what a good clean does… suddenly the front of the pub looks like it’s ready for a fresh pint and a bit of sunshine again 🍺

Another patio brought back to life in Andover today 👀

This one had quietly picked up a fair bit of grime and organic build-up over time… one of those jobs where you don’t realise how much it’s changed until it’s cleaned properly.

Safe to say the customer is now loving the space again and actually wants to sit out there! ☀️

Amazing what a difference a good patio clean can make.

Quick transformation in Stockbridge 👀

These gutters had picked up a fair bit of green staining and algae on the outside over time.

Nothing structural — just one of those things that slowly makes a house look more tired than it actually is.

One from this week over at The Three Cups Inn in Stockbridge 🍻

Big patio and pathway clean to freshen the place up ready for the busy season.

Because the stream runs right alongside the garden, no chemicals could be used on this one — so it was a good old fashioned pressure wash to bring the stone back up properly while keeping everything environmentally friendly.

The whole job was also carried out under the strict supervision of the resident ducks, who spent most of the day waddling around inspecting the work… and judging me quite harshly if I’m honest 🦆😅

Always nice working in spots like this — great pub, great setting, and now a much cleaner patio ready for customers.

Bit of a transformation last week over at Laytons Restaurant at the Leckford Hut on the London Road between Stockbridge and Sutton Scotney 👌

This patio hadn’t seen a proper clean for a few years and had built up a fair layer of grime, algae and general winter misery.

After a good blast the original colour of the slabs came straight back through and the whole area is now looking restaurant-ready for when they open their doors.

Another roof rescued over in Nether Wallop today 👌

This north-facing roof had built up a fair bit of moss over time which can cause blocked gutters and water issues if left too long.

Customer asked for:
✔️ Full gutter clear
✔️ Manual moss scrape on the affected roof section

No pressure washing or biocide treatment on this one as requested by the customer — just a careful scrape to remove the bulk of the moss and get those gutters flowing properly again.

Amazing how much moss can come off a roof once you start getting into it!
