This workscope was carried out over two full days, with all moss carefully removed from the roof areas before a full treatment of HSE approved biocide was applied to the roof tiles

While on site, we also replaced the dry ridge end cap on the rear dormer window after it had come loose during recent weather.

The replacement supplied was slightly different in style, so to ensure a consistent finish we installed a matching pair.

Attention to detail is important, and we always aim to leave everything looking right.

In addition, the ACO drain was fully cleared out as it was heavily blocked with leaves and debris, allowing it to flow freely again.

The customer was experiencing water ingress around the chimney and requested a full inspection and clearance of the guttering system.

We carried out a complete gutter clear using a combination of SkyVac and traditional ladder access to ensure all gutters and downpipes were fully cleared and flowing correctly.

A full visual inspection was completed on completion, and we also removed several old strip lights from the front of the property as requested.

We started a new roof moss removal and biocide treatment today in Aboyne.

The front elevation and garage roof were completed today, both of which were heavily covered in moss.

All areas have been carefully cleaned and prepared, with the biocide treatment applied to help prevent regrowth and keep the roof looking cleaner for longer.

We will be back tomorrow to complete the remaining sections of the roof and finish the job to the same high standard.

Weโ€™ve had another covering of snow overnight and temperatures are sitting well below zero again this morning.

Unfortunately that means work cannot safely progress today.

Surfaces are frozen and conditions are not suitable for carrying out the standard of service we expect to deliver, so we will aim to resume on Monday when temperatures are forecast to improve.

I know many of you are having to head out to work in these conditions, so stay safe and take care on the roads and underfoot.

Winter is certainly reminding us who is in charge just now.

After more than twenty consecutive days of dull weather, we were finally treated to some welcome sunshine, which made a refreshing change and helped us get well underway.
