What is the official advice?
The Scottish government's check list for the workplace includes:

Routine cleaning and disinfection of frequently touched objects and surfaces such as telephones, keyboards, door handles, desks and tables.

Basic hand washing highlighted as the most effective way of preventing the spread of infection. Hand hygiene promoted by ensuring staff, contractors, service users and visitors have access to hand washing facilities and alcohol-based hand rub, where available.

Crockery and cutlery in shared kitchen areas should be cleaned with warm water and detergent and dried thoroughly.

Ensuring food such as crisps and sandwiches should not be left open for communal sharing unless individually wrapped

How to protect your customers from Coronavirus
The World is watching with increasing concern as a new strain of Coronavirus 2019-nCoV spreads
Good hygiene practises are essential in public spaces to ensure public safety, particularly using products with proven efficacy against enveloped viruses like Coronavirus. Simple antibacterial surface sprays are unlikely to be effective. Surface sanitisers with specific antiviral efficacy should be used for frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, handrails, telephones, vending machines and elevator buttons.

Staff and visitors in public spaces should also be encouraged to use an effective antiviral hand sanitiser. As the public becomes more aware of the virus being spread globally, it is expected that we will see an increase in usage rates of hand washing and hand sanitising facilities. It is essential that careful monitoring of these facilities takes place to ensure stocks are not exhausted and facilities left empty, encouraging a lack of hand hygiene compliance.
Whilst the World Health Organisation (WHO) advises the public to use an alcohol-based hand rub, cheap antibacterial hand gels may not be effective against viruses. Health & Safety Managers should check that any hand sanitiser used in their facility has proven efficacy against enveloped viruses to a recognised standard, to make sure that staff and visitors are well protected.
INVIRTU alcohol-free hand foam sanitiser, has been tested to European Standard EN 14476 against Vaccinia virus, which is the benchmark enveloped virus. We are really excited to see our first Electric Van on the road and making deliveries in Aberdeen City. We're committed to doing what we can to reduce our impact on the environment both by striving to deliver more environmentally friendly products but to do so in a way that is most sensitive to the environment. Our electric van carries more than you might imagine and has enough range for our daily deliveries inside the AWPR area. This addition to our fleet was the latest step in a program that saw us switching a number of our vehicles to smaller engine, lighter vehicles. This along with a keen focus on allocating the optimal vehicle to each delivery route on a daily basis has resulted in significant reductions in vehicle emissions.

James Mutch Ltd Sales Representative David Isaac raises the curtain on new Gojo Foaming Soap Dispensers and Katrin System Toilet Roll Dispensers in toilets throughout the Tivoli Theatre.
