The Francesca coat, one of the very first Loro Piana Icons.

Here photographed within the summer residence of Danish writer Ellen Dahl, where she wrote and observed nature, the Francesca coat was born in the mid-1970s, a time when the House supplied fabrics for designers. Meticulous in construction and finish, it showcases the level of excellence that could be achieved with the Maison’s materials.
