A very friendly reminder - please do not trap wildlife 🚫

Baby season starts when litters are born - and ends when they can survive in the wild without their mother.

Baby season generally runs from late winter-early spring to late summer-early fall.

Separating the mother from her babies during this time frame ensures they will not survive.

Fantastic news! 👏 Wayward Paws Wildlife Rehabilitation Inc

Well everyone, we did it, thanks to all of your support and generous donations, we are officially reopened!!! Now for the bad news...as it stands, we are at max capacity for raccoons and cannot take anymore...I know people have called, some have left messages and some have not, but we just can't take anymore raccoons...as sad as that is...you will have to keep trying through ontariowildliferescue.ca to find another rehabber and that may involve driving a distance to find somewhere for them...there is a possibility that we can help with that but you must leave a message please! Once again, we need to thank the general public, our followers and the city of Woodstock for getting us through all this...yes, it's been pure hell!

Unfortunately dealing with sick, injured or orphaned wildlife is out of our scope. We are not equipped to handle, remove or rehab these animals.

We strongly advise against live trapping and/or relocating wildlife on your own.
