Ugly modern urban apartment exterior where everything is multiple colors/boxes/textures and the inside looks sad and basic.

I realize not everyone loves more period feeling houses, but god, at least Victorians and the like were INTERESTING. The current housing trend is like vanilla ice cream… no attitude, no flavor, and it looks like every other house out there.

And that’s insulting to vanilla ice cream, frankly.

"It's part of that disgusting 80s retro look that has become popular along with hunter Green and mustard yellow colors. Stop it. It was gross back then, it looks no [better] now in the 2020s."

I've been laid up in bed recovering from surgery for a couple weeks and I did some online shopping (oops). My package arrived today and I'm so excited!

I'm not one to encourage buying more things to try to organize what you have, but rather try to find items to repurpose.

That being said, food is always coming in to our house. Why do kids expect to eat EVERY DAY? So I actually needed some storage.

First I tried using what I had: old food containers and those cloth bags I eagerly bought and don't use for shopping, but things were still getting lost in the back of the fridge.

Now it's all easy to see and the drawers have non-slip wheels to get to the stuff at the back.

I purchased all the items from Youcopia (I am not seeing a dime from them) and I'm very impressed with the quality. Plus, it's a women owned company. Bonus!

I haven't been giving this the energy it deserves. Christmas and spouse with crazy work hours and a pending surgery put a damper on me.
Things have shifted, so I have a little time in February and then probably May.

Laundry room makeover part two.
This family of four love camping and hiking but they have very little storage space. We reorganized the existing storage unit and ended up with one empty bin.
