Detail Buddy is a Mobile Steam Auto Wash business headquartered in Nanaimo, BC. We currently service the Vancouver Island areas of Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Chemainus, Cedar and Parksville. All Detail Packages are performed using a revolutionary and environmentally friendly steam machine. Our State of the Art Automotive Detail Steamer uses only a few liters of water to clean a vehicle inside and out. Th

e advantage of detailing with the use of steam is the ability to deodorize and sterilize surfaces without the harsh use of chemicals.

Check out this Mercedes G wagon! This gorgeous SUV received our Full Interior and Exterior detail package with a leather add-on. For the Interior pre & post vacuums, steam clean and wipe down on all surfaces, plastics & leather conditioning, and fresh scents.
The outside got a light pressure rinse, tires, wheels and wells cleaned, a snow foam saok and a hand wash and rinse. All dried jordy applied tire dressing, dark plastics dressing and a ceramic paint sealant on the paint! Looking sharp!!😎

Check out Tanyas 2021 Mazda CX-30 after an IGL Kenzo graphene coating application in our upgraded shop!
This car being only 2-3 years old had just a few minor scratches and scuffs. We went to work with a full exterior wash and decontamination of the paint. Then we applied a compound stage paint correction in areas where scratches were present then went over the whole car again with a polishing stage to bring out the shine. When all the prep work was complete our IGL certified specialist, Jordy, went to work and applied the IGL Kenzo Graphene coating. IGL is a fantastic coating especially designed for Vancouver Island weather and improves resistance against water spotting, bird droppings, acid rain, micro-marring, chemicals, brake dust, UV & sunshine and more. Check out the shine on Tanyas "better than new" paint job! A few before and after pics!

What a GREAT couple weeks and a big shout out Thank you to Kristen at the Nanaimo Biological station!!🥳 Kristen called us in as a recurring customer to service 10 of the stations fleet vehicles. Each received out Interior and Exterior package deals which include a pre & post vacuum, APC wipe down and steam clean, plastic conditioning, ,windows and fresh scents. The for the Exterior a power rinse, hand wash with eco friendly soap, then power rinse, tires, rims and wells cleaned. Then hand dried and a sealant applied to the paint and a dressing to shine up the tires! Looking sharp for the summer!😎 Thanks Kristen for choosing Detail Buddy once again!!😃

What a gorgeous day to work on a Mustang Mach E! Tara's Stang recieved our Detail Buddy Full Interior & exterior detail package which includes a pre and post Vacuum, APC wipe down and steam clean of all surfaces and crevices, plastic conditioning and fresh scents. For the exterior we gave it a full handwash, tires and rims cleaned, rinsed and hand dried. Then on went the tire dressing and paint sealant to make it shine in the sun! Oh my gosh is spring here already?!?! Check out Katies 4-runner with a few before and after pics. What a nice day to provide a needed full interior and exterior detail on Katies ride to sharpen it up for the coming sunny days! Katie received a pre and post vacuum, Apc wipe down and steam clean, plastics conditioning and a leather treatment. Then on to the exterior with a foam soap soak, hand wash and rinse followed by a paint sealant and tires dressed like new! Looking sharp Katie!!😎

A beautiful day to work on Jade's Dodge Ram! This Ride received our full interior and exterior package- Pre and post vacuums, Interior steam clean and wipe down, plastics conditioning and fresh scents. The exterior gets a full pressure wash rinse and hand wash. wheel wells are sprayed out and the tires and rims cleaned and shined, then a sealant is added to the paint to shine and protect. This ride received our full interior and exterior package with an added faded black trim restoration.
