[The Foil Hack - Part 2 of 3] Stop overthinking your print processes and start breaking the rules. 🛑💥

We just discovered a massive premium metallic hack using a wet thumb and a laminator accident.

In Part 1, our white toner foil experiment was a bit of a bust. It lacked that premium, high-end pop we were chasing and the colors just felt muddy. 📉

But then we stumbled onto a literal happy accident in the shop. We noticed that soft touch lamination completely mutes the shine of a silver foil sheet, making it look like standard matte paper. 📄

Here is the exact scrappy formula we accidentally discovered:

👉 Laminate raw metallic or holographic foil with soft touch film.

👉 Print CMYK toner DIRECTLY over the lamination.

👉 Watch the wax toner cancel out the matte finish to reveal the shine.

We even tested it on holographic foil using a crazy dual-layer printing method. We are getting so close to reverse-engineering a massively expensive embellishment system using just the gear in our shop! 💥

[The Foil Hack - Part 1 of 3] We tried to reverse-engineer the most expensive print effect on the market. 🛑🕵️‍♂️

If you are a print shop owner or graphic designer, stop scrolling.

Here is exactly what happened when we put our scrappy shop gear to the ultimate test.

We recently saw an INCREDIBLE software-driven metallic system online. It creates flawless, industry-leading effects using special white ink and dedicated software. It is an absolutely top-tier solution and we massively respect the tech behind it. 🙌

But we love a good shop challenge. We wanted to see if we could achieve a SIMILAR metallic look manually for smaller runs using the printers we already own. 🛠️💡

In Part 1 of this experiment, we printed black toner, sleeked it with silver foil, and then used an OKI printer to drop white toner on top. The goal was to use the white ink to block out the shine, then lay CMYK color over the entire sheet to create a custom metallic finish. 🖨️✨

Honestly? The result was just okay. It definitely looked metallic, but it lacked that crazy, vibrant pop we were chasing. The colors felt a little muddy and did not have that high-end premium depth. 🤷‍♂️

Hello fans of bigDAWGS®.

Recently, we have had many spam comments from whom we believe is or connected to a former employee. This person has been trolling us on LinkedIn and Facebook, posting claims that we completely disagree with. The former employee's case was dismissed by the PH Department of Labor (see letter here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XXqKOSpWFWrOCyRLNpLz4DBrZ3w_TWkh/view?usp=sharing).

We also found substantial evidence that this former employee had been working two or more jobs as well as operating a company during work hours for the past 1-2 years. We had even reached out to one of the companies they were promoting during their work hours with us, and suspect they had been double-dipping with remote work with different companies. We are in the process of gathering additional evidence.

On LinkedIn, they are currently posting under a company page EnDigitize (https://www.linkedin.com/company/endigitize/)

We are looking for anyone with any knowledge to help us with our investigation. We are considering pursuing charges and legal action as they have been possibly defrauding us (and others) for possibly years.
