SHOPPING & DELIVERY FEES: (Last updated Apr 3)
(Deliveries are available for residents of Stittsville and Kanata only.)
04/02/2020 Stores available: Browns, Sobeys, Farm Boy, Shoppers, Food Basics and Costco.
Note, an extra $5 may apply for Costco if they are extra busy
👉Delivery fee:
$12 fee (up to 24 items)
+ $0.50 for each additional item over 24
+ 6% of the total of the order
NEW (04/03/20):
More than 1 store= additional $12 per extra store

Depending on your location, an extra travel cost may be charged (some further areas in Kanata North may have this charge). We will let you know if this applies when we get your order.
We'll always call or text you 15 minutes before delivery, just to let you know we're on our way. We will tell you the total of your bill and fees so that you can e-transfer the amount before delivery.
(Delivery fees may change in the future if needed)

POLICIES & PROCEDURES:

- All shopping & deliveries will be done by Dave from HireMyHusband.ca who will be equipped with hand sanitizer.
- Our vehicle undergoes a regular cleaning schedule.
- Due to COVID-19, we will not be accepting product returns or reusable bags or delivery bag returns until further notice.
- If there is any sign of illness in our home, clients will be contacted and deliveries will be cancelled.
- Orders will need to be paid by e-transfer before delivery and items will be left on your porch to adhere to social distancing as much as possible.
- When shopping, social distancing steps will be adhered to as best as possible.
- We can pick up alcohol or beer from any store location listed, however, we will need a picture of an ID with your home address to ensure that you are over 19 years old.
- As a former Grocery Store Employee for over 20yrs (Manager, Grocery Clerk and Produce Clerk), Dave is quite experienced at picking the best produce and other perishables available in the store. You can request the ripeness of produce that you'd like by adding a note to any item on your order list.
- We will check the expiry dates of items and select the longest expiry date available when choosing items.
- Out of Stock Items- If an item is out of stock, we can find you a replacement that is similar or skip the item all together. It's your choice.
> NEW: Shopping is taking way longer than expected due to waiting time to get into the stores, not being able to be 6ft from other shoppers, availability of products, cashiers cleaning between customers and line-ups at the cash. Due to this, we have had to change it so that up to 24 items remain the $12 fee and each additional item over 24 will be $0.50 each.
(We are trying our best to keep prices low, but, orders have been taking approx. 2-4 hours from start to finish)

- We cannot always guarantee the delivery time selected, but we will do our best to meet the specified window requested, and ensure that we communicate with every customer.
- We will keep everyone updated if some time frames are not available.
- You can request same-day delivery and up to 3 days in advance.
- Our delivery hours are between 11 am-9 pm (shopping hours 10 am - 8 pm)
