As i mentioned a few weeks back there was going to be a few changes coming in the new year. here is a copy of the changes that will be starting February 1st. A paper copy will be given to each client through to month as well.
Happy New Year ! 2023 went by so fast, and thankfully was such a great year filled with such amazing clients! Thank you all for choosing and trusting me with your beautiful homes. My business wouldn't be what it is without you all, I appreciate you.
Because this is still considered a new business, as it grows we have to assess and adjust a little more often, to help make the business model work at its best for both myself and my clients. I have spent the last few months making notes and seeing where I can make changes to make everything work more smoothly. Inclosed you will find some reminders and some new changes. Please make sure you read over this notice, and if you have any questions please reach out.
ALL CHANGES ARE IN EFFECT STARTING FEBRUARY 1ST 2024.
BILLING
In the past there have been issues with overdue invoices. I understand sometimes this issue was because invoices were not received due to issues with the quickbooks system. In order to help with this I will now send the invoice link through email, and through messenger/text. All invoices have 7 days to be paid, any bills unpaid on the 8th day will have a 5% late fee charged on the amount of the invoice. To help cut the late fee out I will send a reminder the day before your invoice is due, if at that time there is an issue please contact me to let me know if payment will be late. This is not a high income business, and I can't pay myself until all business costs are paid. So when invoices are late it means i can't pay my wages. If after this your payments continue to be late with no communication, your services may be discontinued.
PRICE
There will be a price increase of $5 to the cleaning service only. I've decided to not increase the cleaning supply cost at this time. I try my best to keep my prices low and fair but with the increased cost of living we are all seeing, the best compromise I could make was to only raise the one fee. I will attach a price list with this notice. If you currently pay a cleaning supply cost but would like to change to only paying the cleaning cost let me know. I can give you a list of supplies to keep stocked. Providing your own cleaning products will help you offset the cost of having the cleaning services, that's why this compromise was the best option for everyone. If you'd still like me to keep supplying cleaning products that is still available.
CANCELLATIONS
This happens, because life happens! So if there is someone in your home sick, please cancel! I will do my best to fit you in at the soonest spot if possible. I would rather you cancel than risk spreading illness. As many know, I have a large blended family, including 3 adults working. Bringing illness home with me poses a big risk to our household and our childrens other families. So please never feel bad about canceling. In return if our house has someone sick I will need to cancel.
SCHEDULING
Going into 2024, my schedule is full. I used to offer weekends, but with a change in family life the decision to keep weekends open for my family was made. For the last few years they have all been so understanding as I grew my business and accepted the sacrifice made for me to accommodate weekend clients, but the time has come for those days to go back to my family. I appreciate your understanding for the clients that had to change their cleaning days.
Thank you for making this business all that it's become. I'm looking forward to the 3rd year of business, and continuing to provide cleaning services to you all. You have made this more than I could ever expect. I hope my gratitude shows in the quality of services I am providing. If at any time you have issues or concerns, please reach out and let me know.
