I should be celebrating my 10yr anniversary this month, however, I’m announcing my official retirement from the cleaning industry.

My health issues from my fall in 2022 have ultimately aged me prematurely. I need another hip repair surgery to repair another hip labrum tear found back in January. I am now under care of a Neurosurgeon in Florence regarding my spine and chronic conditions I have now.

When I restarted my business 3 years ago, I had no idea this would ever happen to me. This is hard for me but it is unfortunately necessary.

I have no clue how many homes I’ve cleaned over the last 10 years but to each and every client, Thank you. In the last 2.5yrs, Thank you to clients who understood my accident and showed patience and kindness. I wish I was still cleaning and without pain, but life leads us down different paths for a reason.

I hope to still be a mentor to those in our area who are cleaners and need help with their business, etc.

As mundane as it may seem, learning to clean professionally saved my life and allowed me to leave my abusive marriage. I couldn’t have done that without the help of others financial support.
For that, I’ll be forever grateful as it allowed me to start my new life at the age of 29.

Now just shy of 37 yrs old, Im not sure where my next chapter will lead me, but I’ll forever be an advocate for taking care of your body first. A freak accident can change your life in a split second, just like it did mine.

I won’t lie, this hurts in a different way. I knew the day would happen but never this soon. 😓

This year has been challenging none the less. I’m grateful for the 20 people who chose to hire me at one point or another this year for their cleaning needs. Some are brand new clients, others I’ve had for years. I maintained my numbers this year despite working through my injury and closed out with 155 appointments. I’m beyond grateful for Jeff Good as he helped keep my clients clean and happy while I’ve been recovering from hip surgery over the last 4 months.

I will slowly be returning to work come January 2024 and Jeff Good will continue to be my partner in crime. Can you believe I’m coming up on 9 years of cleaning? This skill set literally pays my bills and that’s why I’m so dedicated to the services I provide. My clients understand that and I hope sharing will help connect with others also. We are humans helping humans at the end of the day.

Can someone turn the AC on outside? 🥵
Seriously, can you believe we are in the middle of JULY! ☀️👙⛱️

Some of you may remember last Sept ‘22, I had a bad fall down a flight of stairs. The bad news is that I’m still in pain, but the good news is my ortho Dr found that I have a right hip labrum tear and there’s an unknown cross over also in my right hip.

The bad news is I need surgery, the good news is Jeff Good is going to help me while I’m recovering. My surgery is scheduled for August 29th at Seacoast Hospital. I will be out of the field for approximately 3 months.

Over the course of the next month of August, Jeff Good will be joining me to clean my clients homes. This is so we can continue with our scheduled clients and rental properties without a hiccup.

My clients know how much I value their business and this will be a temporary solution until I am cleared to go back to work. I am very thankful for Jeff’s willingness to work my clients into his schedule. I will still be in contact with my clients to ensure everything goes well. Jeff is professional and we have like minded standards to produce quality cleaning services.

At this time, I will not be accepting new clients until approximately October or November 2023.

I can’t put into words how gracious my clients have been over the last 10 months. I’ve had to reschedule and cancel more appointments than I care to admit 😞 Thank you for showing me grace and genuinely being concerned about my well being. 💓
