Thanksgiving week-end is upon us! Time for good times with friends and family! As you start prepping your dinner table for the family supper, Instanet-InstaClean would like to offer you some advice on how to clean your special-occasions dinnerware, particularly crystal glasses ...
* Never put crystal in the dishwasher
* Line the bottom of your sink with rubber mat, and fill with with warm water - not hot - and add 2 - 3 drops of dishwashing liquid
* Wash one glass at a time while holding it by the bowl, not the stem
* Pump the glass up and down in warm water to rinse
* Let it dry on lint-free cotton towel or put on clean thick gloves or cotton socks over your hands and dry the crystal immediately with a old linen towel
* To remove light stains, mix a paste of lemon juice and baking powder and rub gently on the crystal with a sponge and then wash and dry
* To dry a decanter or vase, use a handheld blow dryer set at cool.
* For extra shine, add 1/4 cup of white vinegar or lemon juice to rinse water
* To wash the groves of cut crystal, dip a frayed toothbrush into vinegar, lemon juice or soapy water and scrub
