I hear a lot of concern about the cost of rent, I get it, we also need to look at what landlords are left with, and the cost associated with this, more often than we would like to admit 😞
My phone died so I didn’t get as many pictures as I would have liked to get, the amount of food and garbage from the cupboards was enough to fill 6 garbage bags 🥺
I can’t encourage landlords enough to get references and damage deposits AND ALWAYS do a video walkthrough and take pictures on the day of move in and on the day of move out, this will be the difference between you having to give them their damage deposit back or being able to take from it to pay people like us to come in and clean.

Lack of kitchen cupboards can make it very difficult to organize, with the cost of groceries now it is even more important to know what you have so it can be used prior to expiration. Simple stackable bins that you can pull out can make life so much easier, no more removing item after item to get to that “thing” in the back that you need. When you run out of bins or don’t have the extra money for bins get creative with containers you have.

Whoever said not to get a woman an appliance or tool for a gift didn’t understand a woman in my line of work. I was gifted the big guns, photo below, from a client after she saw how hard I scrubbed to get the stain off of her bathtub. It’s probably been one of my favourite gifts and even my husband knows that a tool that makes it easier for me to do my job is always welcome on Valentine’s Day. check out the reels of this before and after bathroom

When unforeseen life circumstances cause two households to become one, there is always double of everything. Couple that with busy jobs, busy kids, busy life with next to no relaxing, let alone time for organizing and purging we are here to help!
I can only hope that when we are done with all the spaces these folks will be able to take a deep breath and exhale again ❤️

My page is known for a lot of before and after pictures. I haven’t posted much lately although it has been extremely busy. When deciding to ask a client for pictures, there is always a need to “read the room” and many times I do not ask for pictures. When someone’s house has taken on all their trauma of a loved one passing, a marriage dissolving, overworked parents who grasp at any spare minute to spend with their children and many other scenarios. The last thing they need is for someone to ask for pictures of the result of their trauma, grief or busy schedule. It takes a lot of guts to reach out for help and 37 years in this arena has taught me that.
With all that being said, here are just a few photos ( taken and shared with permission ) from the last couple weeks

I could not understand why I was smelling stale cigarette smoke in the bathroom of an empty, non smoking apartment building unit, that has been painted. As I was stripping the old caulking off the tub and sink the smell was getting a bit much and my allergies started to flare up. I thought at first it was the fresh paint, maybe the light bulbs but it wasn’t 😞 Someone clearly didn’t follow the “non smoking rule”
