From overgrown hillside to lakefront pathway worth lingering on. 🪨🌲

Sometimes the best cottage moments start with the journey between the deck and the water. This hillside was a tangle of stones and tired grass. Now? Solid granite steps flow naturally down to the lake.

Our team placed massive granite slabs with our excavator and grapple, reset the grade, and shaped the slope to belong here. Each step levelled by hand – functional and beautiful.

The polish is yet to come. Shrubs and perennials will soften these stones and tie everything into the surrounding forest. But the bones are in place, ready for years of summer gatherings and lakeside sunsets.

Great builds aren’t done in one pass.

Last fall, we set rough grade on this Uxbridge custom build — foundation backfilled, site squared away for framing. Now the walls are up, winter’s done, and we’re back: repairing what the season took and working the site closer to finished height.

That’s how the best projects come together. In phases. With partners who show up every time they’re called.
